The short days of winter when darkness lasts longer than the light is often difficult for many. I can struggle with the heavy sometimes depressing season void of color and light. This past winter seemed to be extra dark adding to that a difficult valley to cross. So, it felt extra special when we saw that first glimpse of new life bursting forth. The cheery yellow bonnets erupting from the bulbs buried beneath the earth are so much a picture of what happened that first Easter morn when our Savior rose up out of the dark lifeless tomb carved out of stone! The smile on our faces should be a permanent feature because of His glorious work on the cross sealing our pardon!
But there is even more to celebrate! For as the daffodils were making their appearance, giving sweet reprieve from a long winter, we were also given the news of another joy that brings a smile encompassing the whole being.
Our “grand” news? Another “GRAND” is on the way!

We thank the Lord for all His wonderous works and even those difficult lessons that grow us up into the people that shine the light of the gospel of peace! For where would we be without it?!
Happy Easter Celebrations are made possible only because of the sinless, spotless blood shed for you and me!
“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”
1 John 1:7
“and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.”
Colossians 1:20
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace”
Ephesians 1:7
“in fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.”
Hebrews 9:22
“For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life.”
Leviticus 17:11
“This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.”
Matthew 26:28
“and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,”
Revelation 1:5
AMEN! Hallelujah! He IS Alive!
