Day 11

A Reflection of “What motivates me to not give up?”
On this day, we commemorate the terrorist attack on our soil 16 years ago. Not only were there numerous lives lost from evil, but many first responders died working to save fellow Americans. This generation of military personnel have been more than capable of a just response of counter terrorism. With much gratitude, I thank my son for his years of service with the United States Air Force providing intelligence to search out and destroy, including a six-month deployment. Serving in the world’s greatest military requires extreme discipline. My son inspires me to not give up! And, considering all our military’s untold sacrifices serving our country, I want to say thanks!
On this day, 14 years ago, a very dear friend said goodbye to her precious little girl after battling cancer for several years. The extreme heartache that was felt is more than I can fathom. My friend inspires me to not give up!
On a day, over 2,000 years ago, The sinless Son of God shed His precious, perfect, priceless, pure blood for the sins of the whole world. His sacrifice of love drew me in and rescued me from the guilty verdict I deserved. I can never thank Him enough or give back adequately. This gift, that provides eternal life with Him in heaven, is the ultimate motivation and inspires me to not give up!
