Day Twenty-Two

Day 22

No sugar or dairy

As I type while sipping sage tea, the doorbell rings, but not feeling the need to get up and check for a visitor. Mostly, because it’s too late for visitors and secondly, since moving into our home, the doorbell has randomly rung without anyone there. I do feel less uneasiness when the hubby’s home. Thankful for Friday evenings. He’s usually home!

Our week was a little stressful with our grandson’s sickness and a doctor visit on Tuesday that will be forever etched in my mind, probably his too. Additional symptoms arose after the appointment on Tuesday that had us make a return visit today. But praise Jesus, we encountered a much better experience and were given encouraging news, he’s on the mend!

Interestingly, the following verse was in my reading for today:

“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture” (Malachi 4:2, [The Living Bible]).

Cling to the Son of Righteousness today, call out to Jesus, live in joyful hope and thanksgiving! What a day when ALL who fear God are healed and freely leaping about filled with joy! What a day that will be!

Keep looking up! I have to or I’ll drink the coke in the pantry, or pull the chunk of cake out of the freezer, not to mention that ice cream sitting in there probably getting freezer burnt. Isn’t that so sweet of my hubby not to eat it, instead he’s leaving it for my birthday next month(?)!21767903_10210333309515042_7498624042934516126_n
