The Bible is the most powerful Book ever because it has the power to transform a life, to redeem a lost soul from the pit of hell and hopelessness, and bring that life to God Himself.
As we continue to hang events on our clothesline:
God has always existed. He alone was before all things; He alone can tell us about the beginning.

Genesis 1, God Created. Since our purpose is an overview look by stretching out a timeline, we won’t be going into detail. But everything from spirit beings, to the heavens and the earth, to God’s image bearers (man), 3 days in forming and 3 days in filling, God masterfully designed His creation.
In Genesis 1:26, “Let us make man.”
We discover that, although there is only one God, there are three persons who are equally God: God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). We use the word “Trinity” to describe these three persons who are the one Eternal God.
And since I love how the whole Bible works together to form the word of God, here’s my sampling of that truth from Heart to Heart Magazine, June 2020:
GENESIS
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God,” John 1:1.
“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth,” Genesis 1:1.
“The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God,” Mark 1:1.
Word by word, atom by atom, molecule by molecule, Christ, the Divine Gardener, sowed the seed of the cosmos into being, watering time and space with the very breath of His mouth. But that was only the beginning. Later, in an outdoor stable, at a moment in time, the Divine Sower sowed Himself into the world in order to redeem and restore it anew. And for those who trust Him by faith today, that is only the beginning!
Remember, Genesis means beginnings. Moses wrote the book of Genesis through the power of the Holy Spirit. John Mark wrote the book of Mark through the power of the Holy Spirit. John wrote the book of John through the power of the Holy Spirit. And John 1:1 further testifies to the truth of Jesus, Who is the Word, being from the beginning with God and taking an active role in Creation.
In the beginning GOD, the Trinity, Created! Unlike God, Creation had a starting point!
