Celebrating my Wedding Anniversary today: June 26!

My all-time favorite blog post is “the ‘Scarlett’ Letter”! You can read it here! Mostly because it is a testament to God’s providential hand and His dealings with ordinary people He created for a greater purpose. I love it!

One of my favorite songs, “Fires” by Jordan St. Cyr – is the inspiration by which I write the following on my 43^rd Wedding Anniversary! This is dedicated to my husband, affectionately known as “Rodrigo”!

We remember you told us

The path would not be easy

But you were happy to give us all we needed!

We have changed by your mercy

And are covered by your peace

We are living the victory

But it certainly doesn’t mean we won’t feel some heat!

You have walked us through fires

Pulling us from flames

Since You are always with us

We won’t be afraid!

And when smoke billows higher and higher

And we feel we can barely breathe,

We will keep walking

Because you are walking for three!

Our lives are a testament to what God will do when two people say “YES, we need your help!” And so, our marriage reflects our Creator, Savior, Who lovingly entered into the mess we tried to make a home with totally renovating the whole structure. He works through the hearts of imperfect, broken, yet redeemed, believers to shine the light on His Kingdom Principles!
