“The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish…But the day of the Lord will come

like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away… what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God…” (2 Peter 3:9-12a, combination of NASB & ESV).

This school of our heavenly Father will soon close…the term time is shortening every day. Let us not shrink from a hard lesson or wince under any rod of chastisement.
