As I revealed in my first post Day One The Glorious Unfolding: This is my tenth September Fast which had me fasting and praying inviting God to develop a burden within me for unfinished business. Work He has been cultivating in my heart as I continue inquiring, interceding and getting involved. A work He desires for the glory of His Name! Increasingly I feel His direction for Scarlett’s story which is a remarkable telling of His Story being written on the pages of my life!

But on this Day – October 2^nd, I ended my 2026, September Fast by making autumn cookies and bringing some to my 80+ year-old neighbor and good friend. I usually end my Fast on October 8, which is my birthday, but instead my dear hubby has asked to celebrate early so it ended today with a neighbor. How apropos!

So much of intercession stems from inquiring where God wants to use me the most in the lives of others: the neighborhood; the church – Rodney’s preaching; my world of blogging, giving, praying; and of course, the husband has precedence and then our children and grands! Living my life in service to the King will always resemble a grandmother in an apron: I have a granddaughter requesting gram’s homemade peanut clusters on my next visit.
