“Hallelujah! Yes, Praise the Lord! How good it is to sing his praises! How delightful, and how right! Sing out your thanks to him” (Psalm 147:1 & 7, TLB).
Thanksgiving celebrations are needed! Hearts of gratitude are necessary! Singing isn’t optional!
But what if you struggle with giving praise to God and singing out your thanks to him? Then pray, “Search me, O God, and know my heart . . .” “Let the Words of my Mouth and the Meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord . . .” (Psalm 139:23; 19:14).
We live life so fast and time is often squandered. But fresh days and new starts are readily available. Days must be filled with grateful hearts and with mouths that sing His greatness. Here’s A Habit to Develop: Praising and Thanking our Lord.
Hallelujah! Yes, praise the Lord for our Colorado kiddos hosting us for Thanksgiving! How delightful that they want us to come, and how blessed we are to go. Turkey and mashed potatoes are on the menu, as well as a pumpkin pie. Blessings to each of you as Thanksgiving is shared around the table and trusting it grows within our hearts to last throughout the seasons of life.
Happy Thanksgiving!
